These high-quality Half Pads are made from 100% natural Australian Merino lambskin. The wool is much denser and softer than the older sheep's wool used in many underpads. The spine is shaved short which relieves pressure on the spine and allows airflow. Half Pads are best sellers because they can be used with any type of saddle. They can be used on a thin saddle pad or directly on the horse's back. In addition, the half pad is provided with two 'slits' at the front so that the D-ring straps of the saddle pad can be passed through the half pad.
