Special Features
The horse blanket duvet is often used by professionals as an underblanket. The warm blanket retains body heat and keeps out the cold. You also no longer suffer from belly girths that get tangled or front closures that give too much pressure because the blanket has no closures.
Fabrics & materials
The inside and outside of the horse blanket are made of polyester microfibre. This fabric feels as soft as cotton and stays in place better. The filling of the duvet is a 300g fiber filling. This material consists of several layers of filling in which warm air can circulate. The filling creates a cocoon of warmth around your horse, while still being breathable. Fiber fil does not absorb odors and always returns to its original shape.
Shape & size
Thanks to its large rectangular shape (200 x 180), the duvet can be used on different types of horses. This is very practical for riders with several horses because the underblanket always fits. Thanks to the polyester microfibre, the blanket stays in place under other blankets. If you want to keep the duvet extra in place with an elastic girth, nylon single straps are provided. The cotton sheet under the underblanket can also be used for extra grip. The extended neck piece offers extra protection on cold days but can also be folded around the blanket. Due to the lack of pressure between the blanket and the mane, there is no friction when the neck piece is extended.
Maintenance Tips
The horse blanket Duvet is washable at 30 degrees. We recommend that you let the blanket air dry afterwards.
